珀斯 指南
Few Australian cities carry quite the same sense of geographic drama as Perth. Positioned on the Indian Ocean coast and separated from the rest of the country's major population centres by thousands of kilometres of desert and scrubland, it occupies a genuinely singular position, both physically and culturally. The Swan River curves through its centre before opening out towards Fremantle and the sea, and on clear days, which are plentiful here, the skyline catches the light in a way that reminds you how far south and west you actually are. That isolation, long treated as a disadvantage, has quietly shaped a city with a strong sense of its own identity.
The city's most walkable precincts reward unhurried exploration. Northbridge, immediately north of the central business district, holds much of Perth's restaurant and bar culture, while the heritage streetscapes of Fremantle, about half an hour south by train, function almost as a second city centre, with their Victorian-era architecture, working port, and Saturday markets drawing visitors who end up staying far longer than planned. Subiaco and Leederville offer a more residential rhythm, and the stretch of coastline from Cottesloe to Scarborough gives the city its beach culture, which is genuinely woven into daily life rather than being a seasonal add-on.
