Acerca de este lugar

The Musée du Parfum in Paris occupies a grand 19th-century townhouse on the Boulevard des Capucines, operated by the Fragonard perfume house, one of the oldest fragrance manufacturers in Grasse. The museum traces the history of perfumery through an exceptional collection of antique flacons, distillation equipment, and ornate bottles spanning centuries of French craftsmanship. Its gilded salons and sweeping staircase reflect the opulence of the Second Empire period, making the building itself as much a part of the visit as the collection within.

Current tickets include access to the permanent collection alongside a perfume-making workshop, giving visitors a practical introduction to the art of blending fragrance under the guidance of trained staff. The workshop draws on Fragonard's long heritage in the Provençal tradition of fine perfumery, connecting the hands-on experience directly to the historical narrative told throughout the museum's rooms. The Musée du Parfum sits close to the Opéra Garnier, placing it at the centre of one of Paris's most architecturally distinguished neighbourhoods.
