Few places in Bali command the landscape quite like Kintamani. Perched along the rim of a vast ancient caldera in the Bangli Regency of central Bali, this highland district sits roughly 1,500 metres above sea level, where the air carries a coolness that feels entirely at odds with the tropical coast below.
